Duties: Start an art program from the ground up, create schedules, order all new supplies, and most importantly introduce art to students with autism ages 5-22. Each lesson created was tailored and adapted to fit every unique individual student throughout the school allowing students to grow in their knowledge and skills that lead toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional, and psychological growth.

Duties: Provide a step-by-step painting process new and first time artists can go home with a feeling of accomplishment and their own masterpiece. Duties: Design and teach a thematic unit of three lessons for children ages eighth through nine for a period of seven weeks, grade all student work, write weekly reflections after each class, and prepare a final art show for students and their families.

Duties: take over Ms. Tvedten’s lessons for a period of three weeks, then design two unit plans consisting of three lesson plans each which tied into Ms. Tvedten’s thematic schedule, grade student work, photograph all student work, upload all work to artsonia.com, and put together hallway displays of the exemplary work. The teaching experience was seven weeks long for grades kindergarten through fifth grade.
